Subsequently, Jerome’s has renewed its SEO and Internet marketing contract with Best Rank for 2010 to build on last year’s impressive outcome.

Navarra adds that the company’s main goal was to make Jerome’s website search engine friendly and drive traffic to the site to gain online exposure and increase sales. He noticed last year that the site’s traffic had increased with the help of AdWords – and those AdWords were being converted into actual sales via the company’s e-commerce site.
“There’s been a definite difference in results between what we weren’t doing before and what we’re doing now,” Navarra explains. “All our online marketing efforts are paying off now, as we’re getting increased traffic and sales from our site’s performance.”
Navarra admits that he and his marketing team didn’t know all the “ins and outs” of AdWords and other search engine marketing tactics – and that’s why they originally brought in Best Rank. Jerome’s quickly went from having an obscure online presence to an authoritative online presence in San Diego.

The goal for 2010 is to enhance Jerome’s visibility in every part of San Diego. Navarra admits that there are some parts of San Diego where the furniture company is not recognized, so it is embarking on online geographic targeting – creating new landing webpages to target those specific areas for greater recognition. Jerome’s will also maintain its search engine optimization, which was one of its top online marketing practices in 2009.
