Great article. Its about time someone explained the fact that on some sites, such as affiliate driven sites, a high bounce rate can be a good thing. I have a site that drives traffic through PPC to a very targeted landing page (adwords quality 10/10) and the site in question has an avge. bounce rate of about 65% but an EPC of £39...it costs me about £7 for every 100 visitors so in my case, the high bounce rate signifies the fact that my users are clicking through to my affiliate partners exactly how I want them to and my model is working.
